Managing members

Add, import, and manage your members and their membership status.

Adding a member manually

  1. Go to Members → Add member
  2. Enter the member's name and email address
  3. Select a membership type
  4. Choose an initial status:
    • Prospective — they've expressed interest but haven't joined yet
    • Pending — application submitted, awaiting approval
    • Active — full member

The member will receive an invitation to set up their account in the member portal.

Importing members in bulk

If you're migrating from another system, you can import members via CSV.

  1. Go to Members → Import
  2. Download the CSV template
  3. Fill in your member data (name, email, membership type, status)
  4. Upload the completed CSV

Existing members (matched by email) will be updated; new emails will create new member records.

Membership status lifecycle

Members progress through the following statuses:

Prospective (50) → Pending (75) → Active (100)
                                        ↓
                              Expired (300) or Cancelled (350)

To change a member's status, open their record and use the Change status action. Every status change is recorded in the audit log.

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar on the Members page to find members by name or email. You can also filter by:

  • Status
  • Membership type
  • Join date range

Exporting members

Go to Members → Export to download a CSV of your member list. The export includes name, email, status, membership type, and key dates.

Exports are logged in the audit log for compliance purposes.
